Vegan Fudge Brownies

These vegan fudge brownies are easy to make and result in a delicious and fudgy brownie.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips melted
  • 1/2 tablespoons Vör aquafaba powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a double boiler over medium heat, combine the chocolate and coconut oil. Stir until completely melted and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, you can also use a microwave for this step, alternating between 15 seconds on and mixing between heating until fully melted.
  3. Whisk together the flour, cocoa, sea salt and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  4. Gently mix the cooled, melted chocolate with the aquafaba, water and sugars. Once combined, follow with the dry ingredients. Gently fold in the chocolate chips. 
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 22 minutes.
